Be True to Your Calling says Lao Zi in DaoDeJing 16

Be true to yourself. Be not someone else. The nature works that way and so we should follow.
Lao Zi observed that all things did not change from their origins. No matter how they grow, they always go back to their roots. He called upon us to be faithful to our uniqueness and try not to be someone else. Violating our calling is just inviting troubles. Yet if we stay true to our calling, our legacy will live on though we may be no more.

Here is the mind-map for Dao De Jing Chapter 16 with translations and interpretations.

Again, Lao Zi's teaching reminds me of the corresponding teaching in the Bible, namely, Eph 2:10.
