"Wu Wei" means no violation, no pretense, no hype. It's about being spontaneous. It is going with the flow: first, understand the way and operate accordingly. Then, effortless action follows.
As mentioned in the Tao Te Ching Chapter 25: "Man models himself on earth, earth on heaven, heaven on the way and the way on that which is naturally so."
In Chapter 16: "Without going outside his door, one understands (the whole world). Without looking out of his window, one sees the Tao of heaven. The further one goes, the less he knows."
Laozi's concept of Wu Wei is actively not doing. It's about going with the flow. As stated in Chapters 37 and 48: "The Tao, when constantly observed, Its Name will become obscure. When we cease from our desire to use force, we cease from inflicting injury."
Chapters 3 and 37 states: "The Tao does nothing, but there is nothing left undone."
Chapters 2 and 43: "The sage does not occupy himself with such (methods); the more he practices them, the more they (will) do him harm."
In Chapter 41: "The superior man hearing of the Tao, diligently practices it. The average man hearing of the Tao, sometimes takes heed and sometimes lets it pass. The inferior man hearing of the Tao, laughs aloud at it. If he did not laugh, it would not be the Tao."
Wu Wei can be understood as being without knowledge (harmful wisdom, impartial love), selflessness, desirelessness, non-possession, and non-contention.
As mentioned in the Analects 9:4: "The Master said, 'He who aims to be a man of complete virtue in his food does not seek to gratify his appetite, nor in his dwelling place does he seek the appliances of ease; he is earnest in what he is doing, and careful in his speech; he frequents the company of men of principle that he may be rectified. Such a person may be said indeed to love to learn.'"
Recently, I watched a video by Yi Gongzi talking about Wu Wei:
"Wu Wei无为" is about attitude; "You Wei有为" (having action) is about methods.
Having a Wu Wei heart, practice You Wei methods. This is the fully charged action.
Waiting for the right time and acting in accordance with the situation.
Wu Wei is at least about following the path of least resistance. The best is to go with the wind and the waves.
We need to learn to understand the Tao (the opportune moment, advantageous position, harmony with people), see the situation clearly, wait for the right moment, and then act in accordance with the circumstances.

无为 = 无知(害人的智慧,不偏爱)，无私，无欲，不持，不争
论语 9:4 子绝四：毋意，毋必，毋固(可改正)，毋我。
无为至少是跟随最小阻碍的道路。choose and move on the path of least resistance.
最好的是顺风顺浪而行。ride on the wind; let the waves carry you.
我们要学会：
认识道（天时地利人和），认清形势，等待时机 而后 顺势而为。
